Missing someone gets easier every day because even though it's one day further from the last time you saw each other, it's one day closer to the next time you will. ~Author Unknown
I needed that quote; especially today. My dear friend lost her dad this weekend and even though they've been sealed, and they know of the blessings of eternal families, they too are living minute by minute.
I know I write on my calendar every month....6 months closer to being with Sage again....a year closer....I have to look at it that way or the missing them becomes almost unbearable at times. Porter is a handsome young man...with such a wonderful Spirit about him.
I asked everyone about the fork and knife and nobody can remember what he was thinking or doing. They think he just poked them in a muffin or something so he could pose without a utinsel distraction. Funny boy :)
A blog about life in general but lately in the last couple years has turned to a blog about my experiences through running. There will still be posts about family life as well as running as I continue with this new found love. The title of my blog "You'll Always Have My Heart" comes from wanting to always keep my son, Porter, in my memory as he was taken from me in March 2010 in a tragic hiking accident.

That is a really neat thought and so true.
I can't help but notice that in the picture Porters fork and knife are sticking straight up. There must be a story. I can tell he was a crack up :D
