Festival of Trees

These two photos were taken in 2010 when me, Kali and little Mr. Miles went to the Festival of Trees. Miles didn't want anything to do with the jolly guy in the red suit. This cute little Santa was patient and as you can see tried to be friendly but Miles wanted out of there fast.

Well....it's obvious a year later he still wants nothing to do with Santa.

So we walked around and saw the pretty trees, the gingerbread creations and shopped in the craft boutique, and watched the singers.

We're taking a break and enjoying our lunch as we watch a cute little group of 5th and 6th graders singing.

Miles started feeling the beat and enjoying the tunes.  He was bouncing his arms up and down and trying to help lead the music.

The Festival of Trees is one of my most favorite Christmas events to attend each year and officially kicks off the Christmas season for me at the beginning of the month. It was also nice this year to have Mark take a day off work to join in the fun with us.
